Join Us

Altrincham Festival is organised by a team of local volunteers. The Festival belongs to the people which is why we need locals to join the organising team and offer their skills and experience. Please contact us as you can make a difference!

Showground Stalls

We welcome charity and not-for-profit stall holders in addition to commercial stall holders. This is the biggest FREE event in Trafford which attracts thousands upon thousands of visitors so booking early is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.

Grand Parade

The Grand Parade is totally FREE to enter. However, you must send us your completed booking forms before 1st June and make sure that if you have booked a float and that you understand the Terms and Conditions.

Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd July 2023
Show Ground at Beechfields is open 11am to 6pm on Saturday 2nd July and 11am to 5pm on Sunday 3rd July

On both days we have the John Collins Fun Fair, stalls, a great selection of food, a licensed bar area, a dog show, stalls galore, car boot on the Sunday, and more.
Our talent stage will be running on both days with entertainment throughout the entire day.

Visit the food village for an amazing selection of food for all tastes, and why not have a drink in the licensed bar area.

The Altrincham and District Festival will have a “rolling road closure” in place during the parade, so as the parade passes, the roads will re-open.
The parade will leave St Margaret’s road at 11am, it will then make its way down the downs, and on to Stamford New Road, this will be around 11.10.
The parade will then turn onto the Stockport Road Flyover, and pass The Old Hall at approximately 11.30.
We expect to turn at The Hare and Hounds around 11.45 and to arrive in Timperley Village for noon.
The parade will finish at our showground around 12.30.
The times are for guidance only and are very approximate and will be subject to change.
