MORE DETAILS WILL BE ADDED HERE EARLY IN 2020 AS WE FIRM THINGS UP.

Saturday 4th July Showground is open 11am to 7pm -  Sunday 5th July Showground open 11am to 5pm

On both days we have the John Collins Fun Fair, stalls, a great selection of food, licienced bar area, dog show, car boot on the Sunday and more.

The Altrincham and District Festival will have a “rolling road closure” in place during the parade, so as the parade passes, the roads will re-open.
The parade will leave St Margaret’s road at 11am, it will then make its way down the downs, and on to Stamford New Road, this will be around 11.10.
The parade will then turn onto the Stockport Road Flyover, and pass The Old Hall at approximate 11.30.
We expect to turn at The Hare and Hounds around 11.45 and to arrive in Timperley Village for noon.
The parade will finish at our showground around 12.30.
The times are for guidance only and are very approximate and will be subject to change.
Please follow our Twitter account @AltyFestival for news and updates.

Space
Stallholders must confine their stall frontage to no more than 10ft/5m and must provide their own tables, chairs, gazebo etc. We recommend you have a sturdy shelter as good weather cannot be relied upon and the Festival will not be cancelled due to inclement weather. If you require a larger space, please let us know, as we will be able to accommodate this at additional cost.
You will need to provide your own table and chairs.
Your gazebo/shelter must be fully secured to the ground.
Please note that we will have no rubbish skips this year, and each stall holder will be responsible for taking all rubbish away, this will include small items such as raffle/tombola tickets . Failure to dispose of your waste may result in a ban from future events.

Please clean up your pitch at the end of the day, and leave no rubbish.

Access
You may access the showground from 8.30am where unloading will be allowed. All vehicles must then be moved to the designated parking spaces and without exception, NO vehicular access to the showground or movement will be allowed after 10:30am. For reasons of public safety, even if you decide to leave early, vehicular movement and access will not be permitted again until we close at 6pm on Saturday 6th July and 5pm Sunday 7th July.

The entrance is via Grange Avenue, Timperley
Postcode for SatNav ; WA15 6DX

We always need volunteers to help run Altrincham Festival. If this interests you, please see our 'Support' section and if you can assist in any way, please do not hesitate to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

The Altrincham Festival started in 1977 as part of the queen’s silver jubilee celebrations. The festival has always been run and organised by volunteers and has always been non-for profit.
We give a chance for local good causes, charities and business to show case what they do, and we still have a traditional grand parade and encourage everyone to come and take part and get involved.
The only chance that the area now gets for a local funfair is on festival day and this has always proven to be very popular.
On Festival day, our showground is open 11am to 5pm and has free entry many stalls and attractions.
2017 saw the Festivals 40th year as we celebrated our Ruby year, and as we come to 2018 we are changing things a little to make sure that the Altrincham Festival continues for another 40 years.

The Altrincham Festival is now a Community Interest Company and are always looking for new volunteers to come and join us and to ensure that the Altrincham Festival carries on being The Biggest FREE Show in Trafford.
